ABOUT ME

Living the Dream

I'm a British-American sports social media specialist, multimedia sports journalist, and presenter currently working as a Social Media Specialist I at ESPN, where I help manage and create content for ESPN FC's social media accounts. I graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism and a minor in Sports Communication in June 2022, and I was previously a Social Media Intern at FC Barcelona, contributor for SB Nation's The Busby Babe blog, digital content editor for Blaugranagram, co-founder of Manchester United news outlet Rock 'n' Roll Reds, and co-founder and co-host of The Golden Boot Podcast.

Born and raised in Albrightsville, PA, sports, news, and content creation have always been my biggest passions. I fell in love with football at an early age, and it soon became my obsession. I played at every elite level within the U.S. youth soccer system and in university, and I began to consume as much football content on television and social media as I could. In 2017, I began writing about sports for my high school newspaper, The Olympiad, where I discovered my passion for sports journalism. In 2018, I enrolled in Emerson College to study journalism and pursue a career as a multimedia sports journalist.

I joined ESPN in October 2022 after interning at FC Barcelona for five months and studying abroad at Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona for the spring 2022 semester. There, I completed my final semester of university to earn my degree from Emerson College. Through these unique experiences, I was able to hone my social media, content creation and presenting skills for one of the biggest clubs in the world, as well as improve my Spanish proficiency and learn Catalan, and apply them to my role at ESPN.

I previously served as a Sports Co-op for The Boston Globe from June 2021 - December 2021, Sports Editor of The Berkeley Beacon from September 2020 to June 2021, staff writer for The Hockey Writers, sports reporter and anchor for WEBN-TV Boston, Creative Intern for Passion FC, and a sportscaster for Emerson Channel Sports.

My sports journalism experience includes covering Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, the Washington Capitals, the 2019 Beanpot Tournament, Boston University men's hockey, Harvard University football, Boston College men's basketball, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics, and Emerson College sports for a variety of outlets.

My dream is to continue working in the social media team of a professional European football team or as a beat reporter covering football.

I've had the pleasure of creating content with some of the biggest names in world football, such as Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze, and Jules Kounde. I've also interviewed some of the most prominent names in U.S. soccer for multiple projects, such as former U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati for The Golden Boot Podcast and journalist Grant Wahl for my multimedia capstone.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing and watching soccer and hockey, playing guitar, listening to music, and traveling as much as I can to learn about different cultures.
